Shoji screens and doors have been a part of life in Japan throughout its long history.
The Japanese traditions and culture were fostered amidst the soft light shining through the washipaper and the silhouette of the wooden frame.

Based on the technology of making Shoji screens and by using Akita Sugi (cedar wood), our designer, Mr. Kentaro Asanuma, managed to fuse both Japanese traditional and modern culture beautifully to create a new sense which resulted in the “Kumiko” series Shoji furniture line. A new style of furniture was born, creating a relaxing space which combines the soft light of shoji and the sensitive beauty of the Kumiko woodwork as the essence of design.
We will show Shoji screens and our new “Kumiko” series furniture line at Euroexpofurniture’2011 in Moscow.
